Made-to-order dresses
Every Mararte dress is designed and made to order especially for you, according to the size and options you choose. Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)), goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal. For this reason, made-to-order and custom pieces cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind or a different size.

Ready to Ship pieces: your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you live in the European Union and you purchased a Ready to Ship item (a finished piece available in stock), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive it, without giving any reason.
How to return a Ready to Ship item:
- Contact us first by email at mararteworkshop@yahoo.com within 14 days of delivery, with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.
- We will reply with the return instructions and return address.
- Send the item back within 14 days of informing us. The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed and in its original condition and packaging.
- The direct cost of returning the item is paid by the customer.
Refund: we will refund the price you paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal request, using the same payment method you used for your order. We may wait to issue the refund until we have received the item back.
Damaged or defective items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please let us know within 14 days of receiving it. Email us at mararteworkshop@yahoo.com with your order number and photos of the item, and we will make it right. This does not affect your statutory rights under the EU legal guarantee.
